Biography
Raised in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Colin Frizzell graduated from Radio Broadcasting at Loyalist College of Applied Arts and Technology. After college he traveled to Europe and settled in Ireland for almost two years; experiencing and enjoying its hospitality and culture of storytelling.
Upon returning to Canada Colin moved to Toronto.
Colin has held several jobs in a multitude of fields, working to enrich his education with life experience while paying the rent.
Colin was first published in college with his poem Dear God. After returning from his travels, Colin had a short story published by webzine, east of web, a feature screenplay optioned by an independent Toronto film producer, and received a Toronto Arts Council grant for his Young Adult novel Just J.
Colin has also written the young adult book Chill, as part of Orca Publishing's: Orca Soundings series.
